Editing sucks.

It's right up there with having a tooth pulled, or attending a funeral, or having a parent explain how you were conceived.

Nevertheless, I have gotten back to editing A Stupid Insufferable Piece.

I think I'm anywhere between one third to almost halfway finished.

Damn, it's been a lazy Sunday.

Which really wouldn't be so bad, but I keep berating myself for not getting anything done... which isn't exactly a great motivator... which completes the cyclic process of making me unproductive... so I guess I'll continue to chastise myself... and waste more time watching Xena: Warrior Princess.

Anybody else panic when asked "would you like to save the changes made to this document" and you can swear all you did was stare at it for an hour and didn't change or type a thing?

Got a little bit of writing done this morning ^_^

Really,  going over what I had written down and starting it back up wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be.

But still...

Why is it so hard to revist my old work? I think I have a grand total of one story I can read through without cringing. It's even worse for unfinished works. I have a hard ( Read more... )
